short memories and empty memories
The Shadow Wall touches upon our sense of memory. Our memories are fleeting and they seem to fade away. At some point they go completely. At what point will you forget everything you did today? Can you remember everything you did this morning?
The machine memory for the Shadow Wall is completely wiped every twenty cycles. The video clip above shows a complete set of memories with the older ones fading. The clip below shows an empty set of memories - a complete void. Will your memories of today be reduced to this in the future?

Shadow Wall inspires wild dancing
"Though the scorching sun and tanned Europeans were notably absent, Loop’s ambition to become a British version of Spain’s Sonar festival isn’t too far from being achieved...[t]hey’ve also got the arty stuff that’s a big part of Sonar. In Limits you could see interactive artwork that captured people’s moving silhouettes and projected them on top of each other. The wild dancing and cartwheeling it inspired was performance art in itself".
